Zapalska1, Dallas Brozik2 Abstract This studys documental is to poke into the nature of tourism and hospitality family businesses that scarper in the transitional Polish economy and to analyze the environment for using and branch of these entrepreneurial firms in the reforming economy. In order to appraise and examine firms development relative to selected external environmental factors touch entrepreneurial operations, on-site surveys and personal interviews were conducted with Polish entrepreneurs who own and operate family businesses inwardly tourism and hospitality industry. The environmental conditions atomic number 18 separate into foursome external environmental factors: political and legal environment, financial environment, non-financial environment, and socio-economic environment, and analyse based on Kazanjians (1988) and Gnyawali and Fogels models (1994).
